Meet Dingo!! This adorably goofy girl is approximately one year old, weighs around 60 pounds, and best guess is maybe a hound/shepherd? Definitely a mixed breed gal who has just the best personality!!
Dingo comes from our Louisiana shelter partner. They reached out because they are over capacity with their fosters and in the shelter and would love to find some of their pals homes in New England. We desperately want to help but we need a committed foster or adopter in order to bring her to New England.
This gal is simply amazing. She is a staff favorite because she is so easy. She loves all dog pals and never ever meets a stranger. She’s got the perfect personality- sweet, goofy, eager to please, and can be the perfect hiking pal and Netflix and chill cuddle bug.
Dingo has been in foster in MA for a weeks now. This is what her foster has to say- “She’s smart, loves long walks, hiking and is a great running partner on leash, this girl can go miles. She’s comfortable in both an urban and rural environment, but if she were a city dog, she’d need an active owner that can get her energy out. She’s house and crate trained, walks great on a leash, working on basic commands, a great car rider and plays very appropriately with other dogs. She can have a little too much of that young dog energy so she can be a little overwhelming for small dogs with her play energy. She most likely would be good around children, but her energy could be too much for younger kiddos. She didn’t pay attention to cats down south, but she is interested in small critters, so she may not be suitable for a home with cats. If you’re looking for a cuddly, adventurous partner, Dingo’s your girl!
