Meet Woody!!
Woody is a 12 week old male who is a pointer/setter
mix with the most wonderful floppy ears. He is currently just under
15 pounds, though he looks smaller than that. Woody was surrendered with his brother Wally.
These two little pups were surrendered due to being part of an “oops litter.” Sadly, the mother did not survive post-partum. The owner called a local shelter
that was beyond full, they could not intake due to space and disease
running through the shelter. She was advised to post them online for
rehoming and to reach out to rescues. The owner did not want anything
bad to happen to these adorable kiddos, through networking she found
Dog4U animal rescue. Dog4U reached out to Safe With Us, who immediately
said yes to helping to place these little boys into wonderful, loving
homes in New England.
They are sweet as can be, well socialized and puppy playful. Just about
any family would be a good fit to provide them a forever home. They will
likely grow up to be smart, fairly active adults due to their breed
mixture. Like toddlers, they are teething so a home without very small
children would likely be best. They love to cuddle, sit in your lap,
give kisses and be loved on. They really enjoy playing outside in a
fenced yard, supervised of course. They are so very precious and whoever
adopts them will love them too. Wally is super sweet and cuddly, Woody
is also a darling pup and a bit more pushy with his affection style (you
will likely end up with a tiny tongue up your nose!). Both babies have
been great for vet visits, Wally is more sensitive to needle pokes while
Woody takes it like a champ. These kids are ready for homes of their
own.
